This Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., KYCC is hosting a traditional healing arts festival – El Mercadito Mágico -- in MacArthur Park (2230 W. 6th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90057) to explore the diverse healing practices in Koreatown, Westlake, and Pico-Union.
Join our Prevention Education, Recovery Services, and Koreatown Storytelling Program as we welcome skilled healing artists to lead workshops and demonstrations in acupuncture, plant-based medicine, and bodywork. All artists are based in Koreatown or neighboring areas, whose innovative practices are culturally-based and geared towards the ethnicities and traditions from within our own neighborhood.
