In honor of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (APAHM), join the City of Los Angeles as we beautify and clean up our neighborhoods! We encourage you to engage in a day of community service with family, friends, and neighbors.
On Sunday May 2, 2021, we will be starting our APAHM community clean ups in El Pueblo, just next between Chinatown and DTLA. Volunteers will meet at the El Pueblo Historic Monument at 125 Paseo De La Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90012. The community clean-up is from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
We will provide all supplies. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a reusable water bottle. Social distancing and mask protocols will be followed.
This event is co-hosted by the Department of Public Works, LA Civil + Human Rights and Equity Department, and LA Sanitation and Environment.
