For 20 years, the Los Angeles Lantern Festival has captured the spirit of this 5,000-year-old Chinese tradition of bringing in a new beginning and hope for the upcoming year. The festival showcases a broad spectrum of arts, performances, folk crafts, literature, and lanterns. The event has engaged multi-generational families in the sharing of Chinese American culture, building community relations, and celebrating our city's diversity.
