Rachel Kochhar is APCF’s Community Engagement Coordinator where she oversees the organizations Capacity Building Program including the Capacity Building Workshops, Van tours, Meet the Funders and other resource development programs. Previously, she served as an Outreach Specialist for a non-profit based in the Inland Empire where she connected with other non-profits and faith-based organizations through COVID-19 education and vaccine access. She was able to expand the organizations partnership within the AAPI community during her time there. Rachel has been a member of the National Alliance of Filipino Concerns since 2018 and is an active community organizer within Los Angeles County. She has a passion for health care access, social determinants of health and health equity. Rachel holds a Master of Public Health with a focus in Health Promotion, Education and Evaluation as well as a being a Certified Health Education Specialist. She obtained her bachelor’s in Human Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. As a multi-racial (Filipino, Indian and White) women, she is proud to support the greater AAPI community.
