A diverse and densely populated neighborhood just west of Downtown LA, Koreatown is an area shaped by history (including the 1992 civil unrest) and an urban district undergoing transition and demographic shifts.

Nestled in the suburban communities of the “Valley” are many API cultures and languages – at 13% of the population with mostly Filipino and Korean along with smaller groups of Thai, Vietnamese, and Indian.
