Celebrate Mom by making a beautiful Sangetsu-style ikebana arrangement called Kyoku Sen. In this workshop, participants will learn about this traditional Japanese art form that involves the arrangement of flowers in a very unique and simple way. Participants will practice creating a pleasing arrangement expressing a sense of balance, harmony, and the beauty of nature. This arrangement expresses the beauty of branches flowing and dancing in the wind. Participants will be using materials that are light and buoyant, with great flowing curves or angles that give a feeling of lively motion. Fee is $35 per person. Limited to 30 participants.
