The Filipino Migrant Center is hosting a FREE film screening of Liwanag, a documentary following the experiences of three Filipino women workers during COVID-19 and ways they’re making positive change despite facing wage theft and Anti-Asian hate. The Long Beach premiere will take place on July 15, 2023 at the Harte Neighborhood Library.
