Los Angeles Department of Water and Power has rescheduled the 1st Inaugural Women’s Career and Wellness Expo to May 6, 2023, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at LADWP’s Truesdale Facility located at 11760 Truesdale Street, Sun Valley, CA 91352.

Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) is committed to advancing gender equity and women’s economic empowerment as we transition toward renewable energy and water resiliency. LADWP wants to help narrow the nation's gender and racial pay gap by improving access to employment pathways, promoting the benefits of union represented high-quality jobs, and bridging the gender gap in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) skills. LADWP is proud to lead this effort by hosting a regional event that showcase a variety of utility careers through demonstrations led by our own workforce. Our recruitment staff will be onsite providing information about pathways to employment for attendees.

This family friendly event will also include free food, rock climbing wall, a petting zoo, women’s empowerment vendor fair and uplifting music from female artists.
