Join KYCC Environmental Services for our Community Block Party to launch the University Park & South LA Tree Equity Project! Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at West Dana Street, Los Angeles, CA 90007. This FREE EVENT will feature vendors, resources, delicious food, volunteer opportunities, tree planting, entertainment, and much more! 

The USC Urban Trees Initiative, along with KYCC, Los Angeles Sanitation & Environment, City Plants, CAL FIRE, and Public Exchange are collaborating to plant and nurture 250 trees in the South L.A. neighborhoods of Adams-Normandie, University Park, and Expo Park, aiming to enhance heat resilience.
