Join the Chinese American Museum and Miss Rita from the Los Angeles Public Library’s Chinatown branch for this month’s Kids’ Storytime on Tuesday, July 16th, at 4pm PDT. Miss Rita will be reading The Blue Bowl by Flo Leung. 

This book is suitable for ages 4-8, though we welcome children of all ages with parental supervision.

Based in Toronto, Canada, Leung is an author-illustrator who was a pastry cook before entering the world of children’s literature. The stories they develop, including The Blue Bowl, are dedicated their own personal experiences with food and growing up with their family from Hong Kong.

Kids’ Storytime featuring Asian American Authors is hosted by CAM in partnership with the Chinatown Branch Library and virtually held through Zoom.
