HMA Community Strategies and Housing+Community Investment Department present Breaking the Cycle: Defining Innovative and Equitable Strategies.
In order to stimulate new thinking around addressing the crisis of poverty, Councilmember Mitch O’Farrell and Housing+Community Investment Department convened the inaugural Los Angeles Poverty Prevention Summit in September 2019. The summit engaged a cross-section of stakeholders to explore and define innovative and equitable strategies. Recommendations from the summit included the development of a strategic framework to reduce intergenerational poverty.
