This workshop will be a hands-on working introduction to bonsai taught by the Dai Ichi Bonsai Kai. Students will learn the basics of pruning and maintaining their own bonsai tree. Instructors will discuss the many styles of bonsai trees and selecting the best for their own tree. Bonsai is an outdoor activity, and instructors will explain the basics of watering, fertilizing, pest control, and tree maintenance. Limited to 20 participants. Supplies included. $50 fee to participate.
