Be Counted Asian America: A Virtual Town Hall

Join us on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 from 4-6pm PST, 7-9pm EST for an empowering virtual town hall focused on galvanizing the Asian American community to participate in the 2020 Census.

As the Sept. 30th deadline for the 2020 Census draws near, it’s more important than ever to engage and count the nation’s marginalized communities. Currently 40% of Americans have yet to fill out the Census to guide the allocation of $675 BILLION in federal funding each year for the next TEN years.

Asian Americans have been identified to be the least likely to fill out the Census, which would prevent crucial allocation for needs like schools, roads, and health facilities as well as government representation. This is not a moment to stay on the sidelines.

Our live-streamed event will feature inspiring panelists - Christine Chen, Tim Wang, Jason Lee, and Kavi Vu - who are ready to drop some vital knowledge and answer questions from our audience. In true Kollaboration fashion, will also feature performances by amazing APA artists - AJ Rafael, Uzuhan, and Run River North - to keep our hearts on fire throughout the event.

Our community leaders and panelists are committed to ensuring that we are represented at a critical moment! Join us for these conversations, performances, calls to action, and some fun giveaways! Register NOW and invite your friends - all are welcome!
