In partnership with Visual Communication, the community is invited to a celebration of AAPI Heritage Month with a showing of 7 diverse short films: They Served, More Than A Roast Chicken, The Tale of Uncle Frank and Stories For Another Day, Missing Pieces, Mochi Sticks Us Together, See You In My Dreams, and When I’m 64. A panel discussion and Q&A session with the 5 filmmakers: Don Bannai, Patty Fong, Stony Furutani, Barbara Kagawa Shore, Teresa Matsushima, Robert Shoji, and George Wada will take place after the screening. Registration is required to attend. Entry fee is $15 per person.
