2024 APCF Network Agency Application

APCF sustains and grows the Asian & Pacific Islander (API) nonprofit sector to ensure culturally appropriate services in-language to our diverse communities in need. Our Network is an annual membership of nonprofits serving API communities intended to strengthen our communities through supporting the organizations that can best serve them. Membership is open to all eligible nonprofits.

CRITERIA

  • Commitment to serving the API community, including a significant portion of population served that identify as API

  • Agency staff have linguistic and cultural competency and expertise to deliver services to underserved populations in the API community

  • Geographic focus in Southern California, including office(s) and program beneficiaries located in all 10 counties.

  • Tax exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or fiscally sponsored by such

  • Have an annual operating budget of at least $25,000 in the past three consecutive years

  • Meet all federal, state, and local registration and reporting requirements for not-for-profit organizations

  • Annual Application with Network Membership Fee

    • $100 — Budgets over $1M

    • $50 — Budgets $1M and under

    • Including priority 1-on-1 appointments with funders at Meet the Funders events

  • Funding opportunity notifications — including early notice of APCF grant applications

  • Marketing opportunities to be highlighted in APCF’s website and publications

  • Network to disseminate information, such as upcoming events, collaborations, resource sharing, job postings, etc.

  • Assistance with recruitment and placement of volunteers

  • Grant-seeking partnerships to leverage funding

  • Technical assistance and coaching on nonprofit governance, financial management, leadership development, etc.

  • Introduction to potential donors, representatives of philanthropic institutions, key decision-makers, and community leaders

  • Participate in collective funding advocacy
